The Ridge RTC is seeking mental health therapists to join their residential treatment center in Milton, New Hampshire. JOB SUMMARY * 5,000 SIGN ON FOR LICENSED 2,500 FOR UN-LICENSED* The Mental Health Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents and/or young adults experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges. This role collaborates with a multidisciplinary clinical team to support patients throughout a structured treatment episode and into successful aftercare. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents and/or young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use, and other co-occurring mental and behavioral health conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments with patients and parents/guardians.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic rapport with each assigned patient throughout a 28–35 day treatment episode.
- Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and clinical observations.
- Synthesize and communicate relevant clinical information to multidisciplinary team members.
- Participate in and support aftercare and discharge planning, partnering with families and internal/external clinical teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to ethical standards and all applicable clinical, regulatory, and licensing requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a clinical mental health or behavioral health setting. Experience working with adolescents and/or young adults. Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (or enrollment in a Doctoral program). Experience providing individual, family, and/or group therapy. Experience with mental health, substance use, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment preferred.
- Licensed, pre-licensed, or license-eligible in New Hampshire, or ability to transfer license, as one of the following: Marriage and Family Therapist Clinical Mental Health Counselor Clinical Social Worker Clinical Psychologist Pending Licensure or Out of State Licensure accepted Salary Range $75,000—$95,000 USD BENEFITS Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, and vision. 401k with 4% match.
