About This Role
This part-time position places you in a skilled nursing facility where you'll evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Your days involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy to patients recovering from stroke, surgery, or other conditions affecting communication. You'll work with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to coordinate care. The part-time schedule offers flexibility while allowing you to build meaningful patient relationships. This role suits SLPs who enjoy working with older adults in a medical setting and prefer not to commit to full-time hours.
