Job Description
Oklahoma University Health, a nationally ranked children‘s hospital, is welcoming Pediatric Medical Geneticists and Metabolic Geneticists to join a collaborative and expanding academic team.
- Supportive division of 2 Pediatric Medical Geneticists, 2 APPs, and 7 Genetic Counselors with plans to grow to 4 physicians
- Flexible role design with options for 100% clinical practice or protected research and/or teaching time
- Partnership with the Dept. of Molecular Genetics and Genome Sciences - forging a bold new path in biomedical research led by a nationally recognized investigator, supported by a $55 million investment in research infrastructure and state-of-the-art lab space at University Research Park
- Access to advanced cytogenetic, molecular and biochemical laboratories
- Exciting plans to relaunch genetics fellowship and counseling programs
- Contract with the State of Oklahoma to provide consultation for all newborn screenings
- Comprehensive services including chromosomal, molecular, and biochemical testing, genetic counseling and teratogen information
