About This Role
You'll work with patients at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, conducting speech and language assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy to residents with communication and swallowing disorders. Your days involve one-on-one and group sessions, collaborating with nursing and therapy staff, and documenting patient progress. This is an in-facility role where you'll support patients recovering from surgery, stroke, or other conditions, as well as those in long-term care. The center prioritizes hands-on patient engagement and family involvement in treatment planning. This position suits SLPs who enjoy working across the lifespan in a team-based healthcare setting and prefer the stability of facility-based practice over traveling.
