About This Role
This is a full-time inpatient psychiatric position at a 99-bed behavioral health facility in Georgetown, Delaware. You'll work Monday through Friday during day hours with no regular call requirements—just one weekend per month and a weekly phone rotation. You'll manage approximately 18 patients daily in a collaborative setting alongside two other psychiatrists, three advanced practice providers, and a pool of per diem support staff. The role is 100% on-site with no telehealth component, giving you direct patient interaction in a structured inpatient environment. This position suits psychiatrists seeking stability and work-life balance without the unpredictability of frequent on-call duties, while still engaging in meaningful inpatient behavioral health care.
