Overview We are looking to fill in a weekday and weekend coverage between full shifts - (8am-8pm); AM (8am-2pm) and PM (2pm-8pm) shifts.
Weekday and weekend coverage is required.
Responsible for performing massage services for guests and members of the Spa.
Responsible for communicating and transcribing all information regarding guest medical history, services performed, skin analysis and product recommendations into the Spa Computer System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests and members in a professional, friendly manner.
Select the appropriate spa treatments based on the client’s needs after reviewing the client intake form with each guest.
Perform spa treatments within the scope of training and utilizing draping protocols.
Complete accurate and legible client intake notes.
Create an excellent experience for guests and members through a therapeutic touch and friendly attitude.
Promote the health and wellness benefits of spa treatments specific to each client and recommend frequency of services.
Safeguard client information and confidentiality.
Execute professional boundaries and do not engage in dual relationships with clients.
Maintain a professional clean appearance of self and clinic by wearing a clean and pressed uniform, following the table dressing and draping protocols, and keeping the therapy room clean.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year experience in massage In-depth knowledge of the latest massage industry techniques, equipment, services, and products.
Willing to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
Customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, clinic management, fellow therapists, and sales staff.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push carts up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
Good dexterity in fingers, wrists, and hands with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand and move throughout spa and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
