About This Role
In this position, you'll work directly with senior residents at Stellar Senior Living, implementing occupational therapy treatment plans designed to help them maintain daily living skills and independence. Your day involves conducting therapeutic activities, guiding functional skills training, and documenting resident progress. You'll partner with occupational therapists, nursing staff, and caregivers to coordinate comprehensive care and communicate outcomes to residents and their families. This role suits candidates who have earned COTA certification, genuinely enjoy working with older adults, and thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment. You'll need strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt activities to individual resident needs and abilities.
