About This Role
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Step Up Rehab, you'll work in the on-site therapy gym at one of two skilled nursing facilities in Jacksonville, delivering hands-on treatment to help residents rebuild daily living skills and independence. Your days involve one-on-one and small group sessions focused on functional activities, mobility training, and adaptive techniques tailored to each patient's recovery goals. You'll work closely with occupational therapists to implement treatment plans and document progress. This role suits COTAs who are patient-centered, detail-oriented, and energized by seeing tangible improvements in residents' abilities to manage self-care and everyday tasks. The position offers the stability of facility-based work without travel, allowing you to build consistent relationships with your patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Work inside the dedicated therapy gym within either of these skilled nursing facilities, helping residents regain function and independence through skilled, compassionate care. Step Up Rehab is now hiring Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) to work at our Jacksonville Florida Locations: FULL-TIME POSITION: This position is exclusively for professionals licensed in the state of Florida as a COTA. Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited COTA program
