About This Role
This full-time hospital position places you on a dedicated 20-bed inpatient psychiatric unit serving adult patients within a 145-bed acute care facility. You'll work monthly rotations lasting 7-10 consecutive days, with rounding shifts typically running 8-12 hours—you can often leave once rounds conclude. During your assigned rotation, you're on call 24 hours and will manage 5-12 patients daily while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team. The role suits physicians with some psychiatric experience who thrive in fast-paced inpatient settings and prefer structured scheduling with concentrated work blocks rather than ongoing outpatient commitments. This is a hospital-employed position offering stability and the resources of a Level III Trauma Center.
