About This Role
As a Speech Pathologist working on a PRN (as-needed) basis at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeland, you'll provide direct patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Your days will involve conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy sessions to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, and other conditions affecting speech and swallowing. Active SLP license in good standing in the state of employment
1+ year of relevant experience; ability to onboard quickly.
BLS required. Specialty certs based on unit.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.

Qualifications Current licensure or certification required by state regulations. Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC). CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Master‘s degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s degree with field experience.
