About This Role
Full Heart Family Therapy is hiring licensed therapists to work with couples and families throughout Utah. In this role, you'll conduct therapy sessions focused on resolving relationship conflicts and family dynamics. Your day-to-day work involves diagnosing psychological issues, identifying unhealthy communication patterns, coaching clients through difficult periods, and helping people modify behaviors that damage their relationships. You'll guide patients toward lasting solutions rather than quick fixes. This position suits therapists who genuinely want to invest in their clients' long-term wellbeing and are comfortable working with the complexities of family systems. A current marriage and family therapy license is required.

Frequently asked questions
What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?
School-based therapy roles typically follow a 9- or 10-month school-year calendar with summers off. Outpatient, hospital, home-health, and telehealth positions are year-round with PTO. Both options are widely available — check the job description for specifics.
What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
