About This Role
This is an on-site position where you'll deliver hands-on physical therapy to older adults in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Your day involves executing treatment plans that help patients regain mobility and independence, which means leading exercises, working on balance and walking mechanics, and guiding patients through functional activities. You'll also maintain detailed medical records and educate patients about their progress and home care. The role suits someone with a genuine interest in geriatric care who enjoys direct patient interaction and measuring meaningful improvements in quality of life. You'll need current PTA certification and the ability to work collaboratively with supervising physical therapists.
