About This Role
This full-time float position requires you to visit multiple Pro Rehab therapy clinics across the Central Metro region of Minnesota, assisting licensed physical therapists with patient treatment plans and rehabilitation exercises. You'll work directly with clients recovering from injury or surgery, helping them regain mobility and strength under the guidance of supervising therapists. The role involves traveling between facilities, for which you'll receive mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile. With wages ranging from $26 to $32 hourly based on experience, this position welcomes newly graduated PTAs alongside experienced clinicians. You should be comfortable with a dynamic schedule that involves site-to-site work rather than a single clinic location. This is ideal for someone seeking variety in their work environment and willing to build relationships across multiple patient populations.

Frequently asked questions
What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?
School-based therapy roles typically follow a 9- or 10-month school-year calendar with summers off. Outpatient, hospital, home-health, and telehealth positions are year-round with PTO. Both options are widely available — check the job description for specifics.
What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
