About This Role
As a Physical Therapy Assistant in our acute care setting, you'll work day shift supporting patient recovery across ICU and medical-surgical units in a fast-paced hospital environment. Active PT license in good standing in the state of employment
Open to new graduates and entry-level nurses.
BLS required. Paid orientation and mentorship typically provided.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.

- Clinical Ladder up to $4,000 Job Summary Under the guidance and direction of a Physical Therapist a Physical Therapy Assistant assists the Therapist with therapeutic exercises, training or treatment plans to return the patient to a normal pattern of movement and functioning as possible. Works with patients from pediatric to geriatric ages who are referred for medical and educational services. The primary functions are to perform patient related activities, including delegated procedures that are commensurate with educational skill and training. Responsible for communication of care to physical therapy staff or others to evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, or coordinating treatment. Job Requirements Education:
