About This Role
This position involves delivering hands-on physical therapy to seniors across skilled nursing and long-term care settings in the Green Acres area. You'll execute treatment plans created by supervising therapists, concentrating on helping patients regain mobility, build strength, improve balance, and reduce fall risks. Your days will include working directly with patients during therapy sessions, documenting progress in electronic medical records, teaching patients and their families about exercises and recovery, and coordinating with nurses, doctors, and other care staff. You're a good fit if you're detail-oriented, genuinely patient-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced healthcare environments with vulnerable populations. A background in physical therapy assistance and state licensure as a PTA are essential for this role.
