About This Role
As a Mental Health Technician with UF Health's Pediatrics team, you'll work directly with young patients addressing behavioral and emotional challenges. Your day involves assisting with therapeutic activities, keeping a close eye on patient safety, and documenting detailed observations of patient progress and concerns. You'll be part of a clinical team, communicating regularly with nurses, physicians, and therapists to support coordinated care plans. This is a hands-on position suited for someone with patience, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in pediatric mental health. You'll need to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
