About This Role
This part-time psychiatric role in a private practice setting gives you flexibility to shape your own patient load. You'll conduct evaluations, provide medication management, and collaborate with therapists on individual, couples, and family cases. The practice specializes in psychotherapy services and lets you choose whether you prefer working with children and adolescents or adult patients—or a mix of both. You'll spend meaningful time with each client, understanding their needs in depth rather than racing through high-volume appointments. The position offers competitive compensation with the option to expand your hours if you want additional income. This role suits clinicians who value therapeutic relationships, appreciate autonomy in their schedule, and want to work in a collegial private practice environment near the Jersey Shore.

What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?

What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
