About This Role
This part-time remote role involves delivering occupational therapy services to school-age children for approximately 20 hours per week at $48-$55 per hour. You'll conduct evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, and occupational performance, then design and implement targeted interventions based on individual needs. Your work will focus on helping children with physical or cognitive impairments develop the skills necessary for academic and daily functioning. This position requires an active Oregon occupational therapy license. The fully remote setup offers flexibility while you work directly with students and school teams. You're a good fit if you're a licensed OT who enjoys working with pediatric populations and can deliver quality care in a virtual environment.

Frequently asked questions
What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?
School-based therapy roles typically follow a 9- or 10-month school-year calendar with summers off. Outpatient, hospital, home-health, and telehealth positions are year-round with PTO. Both options are widely available — check the job description for specifics.
What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
