Overview Speech Language Pathologist travel assignment in Tuba City, Arizona, starting 07/27/2026 for 13 weeks, $2,330-$2,530 per week, 36 guaranteed hours per week, shift 5x8 days. Shift: 5x8 days Start date: 07/27/2026 Work setting: surgical/clinical healthcare environment Responsibilities Deliver medically based speech-language pathology services to patients across birth through geriatric ages in inpatient and outpatient contexts Assess evaluations, interpret results, plan and implement treatment programs, and set realistic goals with physician input Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic health record; modify plans as indicated by patient progress Provide specialized services when indicated, including swallowing evaluations (VFSS/MBS, FEES), pediatric feeding, cognitive therapy, voice therapy, and geriatric/assistive technology clinics Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy approaches and home programs to support carryover of goals Collaborate with Physical Rehabilitation and other care team members; participate in quality improvement, risk management, and safety initiatives; ensure compliance with ASHA standards and license requirements Maintain medical staff privileges and complete credentialing requirements as needed Requirements Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid, current, full, and unrestricted SLP license from Arizona or any U.S. state Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to work in a surgical/clinic setting This role is for a Speech-Language Pathologist; SLPA candidates are not accepted Benefits and Support Competitive weekly pay Guaranteed hours Housing assistance available 24/7 recruiter and travel support Extension opportunities Fast credentialing processes Dedicated support throughout the assignment Find more opportunities If you’d like to explore other openings, apply at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary. BLS required. ACLS, PALS, or specialty certs depending on unit.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
