About This Role
Life Care Centers is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work remotely while serving senior residents in their Puyallup facility. You'll evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, documenting patient progress, and consulting with nurses, doctors, and other care staff to coordinate resident care. You'll also educate patients and families about treatment goals and techniques. This full-time position suits clinicians who enjoy working in geriatric care, value collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and can manage their own schedule while meeting facility needs. A master's degree and state licensure are required.
