About This Role
EnCompass is looking for a Speech Pathologist to deliver direct patient care in both clinic and home settings across their Nebraska location. You'll treat patients dealing with speech, language, swallowing, cognitive, and voice disorders using your clinical expertise. The role combines facility-based work at their rehabilitation hospital with in-home visits, giving you variety in your day-to-day environment. This position suits clinicians who are comfortable working independently with diverse patient populations and appreciate flexibility between institutional and home health settings. You'll be part of a larger integrated healthcare network, meaning access to support systems and collaboration with other clinical staff. A relevant degree and state licensure are required.

Frequently asked questions
What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?
School-based therapy roles typically follow a 9- or 10-month school-year calendar with summers off. Outpatient, hospital, home-health, and telehealth positions are year-round with PTO. Both options are widely available — check the job description for specifics.
What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
