About This Role
This home-based physical therapy position involves traveling throughout the Austin area to deliver patient care in residential settings. You'll assess patients' mobility and functional abilities, create customized treatment plans, and perform hands-on therapy sessions tailored to each individual's needs. A significant portion of your day includes educating patients and their families on exercises and strategies they can use independently. You'll also coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. Documentation and regulatory compliance are core responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in patients' homes while maintaining strong clinical skills and genuine interest in helping people regain independence.
