This part-time role involves delivering group therapy sessions as part of NANA Healthcare Management's behavioral health services in Raiders Ridge. Part-Time Group Therapist S.L.O.W. Academy – Southern Live Oak Wellness About Southern Live Oak Wellness (SLOW) Southern Live Oak Wellness (SLOW), LLC is an evidence-based, client-centered behavioral health organization offering PHP, Day and Evening IOP, Residential Treatment, and specialized inpatient services. We provide care across multiple levels of need in a warm, welcoming environment that meets clients where they are and empowers them to “be the great person they were always meant to be.” As part of our continued growth and commitment to expanding access to specialized care, SLOW is opening S.L.O.W. Academy, an 8-bed inpatient treatment center dedicated to individuals struggling with eating disorders. This program will provide highly structured, multidisciplinary care, supporting both medical stabilization and long-term recovery. Position Overview The Part-Time Group Therapist provides structured group therapy and clinically indicated individual and family sessions within a residential treatment environment. This role requires strong clinical judgment, initiative, and the ability to respond effectively in crisis situations while supporting adolescents through complex eating disorder recovery. Key Responsibilities Facilitate daily psychoeducational and process-oriented group therapy sessions Conduct individual and family therapy sessions as clinically indicated Assess client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary Monitor and document client behavior, participation, and treatment progress Report significant clinical incidents to the Clinical Director and leadership team Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members to support integrated care Uphold the mission, vision, and clinical standards of Southern Live Oak Wellness Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field Licensed or license-eligible in Georgia (LPC, LAPC, LMSW, or LCSW) Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment At least 1 year of group therapy facilitation experience Experience working with high-acuity populations preferred Strong crisis management and de-escalation skills CPI and CPR/First Aid certification preferred Compensation
