About This Role
As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Step Up Rehab, you'll work in the on-site therapy gyms at skilled nursing facilities, supporting residents through hands-on rehabilitation and recovery exercises. Your days involve assisting licensed physical therapists with treatment sessions, monitoring patient progress, and helping individuals regain mobility and independence. This is a clinical role based at one of two Jacksonville-area facilities, offering stability and routine compared to travel-heavy positions. Full-time staff receive a $3,500 sign-on bonus. The ideal candidate has a PTA license or certification, genuine patience working with seniors and patients with varying abilities, and the ability to follow treatment plans while adapting to individual needs. You should be comfortable with physical demands and motivated by seeing tangible progress in patient outcomes.

Qualifications
