Overview Occupational Therapist — Outpatient rehabilitation (travel assignment) in Mammoth Lakes, California. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Shift: Days Start date: 09/14/2026 Work setting: Outpatient rehabilitation Housing: Dorm-style housing options available at a monthly cost Responsibilities Provide 1:1 patient care with a 45-minute appointment every hour, evaluating patients referred for OT Perform objective evaluations and measurements relevant to the patient’s diagnosis Set measurable goals and functional outcomes with input from the physician, patient, and family as appropriate Develop and adjust a logical OT treatment program; reassess and revise the plan at minimum every 6 weeks Apply OT techniques and modalities appropriate to the diagnosis; document progress for multi-visit cases to support insurance authorization and utilization review Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other departments to coordinate care and communicate patient progress Requirements Active California Occupational Therapy license Graduate of an accredited OT program American Heart Association BLS certification required Outpatient and hand-based therapy experience preferred Ability to work effectively in an outpatient setting and collaborate with the care team Benefits and Support Housing assistance with dorm-style options (depending on availability) including fully furnished one-bedroom apartments and studios, private kitchens and bathrooms, wi‑fi, and cable; amenities may include a pool and fitness options Family-friendly, supportive work environment with opportunities to collaborate across services Find more opportunities If you’d like to explore other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary. BLS required. ACLS, PALS, or specialty certs depending on unit.
Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient transfers.
