About This Role
As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with All About Therapy, you'll split your time between clinic settings and in-home or school-based visits throughout the Raleigh and Apex/Cary areas. Your days involve direct patient care with children, working closely with families to address developmental, sensory, and motor challenges in the environments where kids actually spend their time. You'll have autonomy in how you approach treatment and flexibility in scheduling your caseload. The role suits therapists who thrive with independence, prefer hands-on family collaboration over rigid protocols, and want to see real-world impact beyond traditional clinic walls. This is a therapist-owned practice, meaning your input shapes how the organization operates.

Frequently asked questions
What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?
School-based therapy roles typically follow a 9- or 10-month school-year calendar with summers off. Outpatient, hospital, home-health, and telehealth positions are year-round with PTO. Both options are widely available — check the job description for specifics.
What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
