About This Role
You'll work as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at a senior living community in Colorado, helping residents regain and maintain functional abilities through hands-on therapeutic activities and skill-building exercises. Your day involves executing treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, documenting resident progress, and coordinating with nursing and care staff to ensure consistent support. You'll also educate residents and their families about exercises and strategies to use between sessions. This role suits someone with current COTA certification, strong communication skills, and genuine patience working with older adults. You'll be part of a collaborative healthcare team focused on helping seniors stay as independent as possible in their daily lives.
