About This Role
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at Life Care Centers, you'll work alongside an Occupational Therapist to provide hands-on therapy and support to senior residents in our long-term care facility. Your days will involve delivering therapeutic interventions, helping residents with activities of daily living like bathing and dressing, and teaching techniques to rebuild independence. You'll document progress notes, communicate with nursing and therapy staff, and adjust treatment plans based on resident progress. This role suits compassionate healthcare professionals who enjoy working with older adults and take satisfaction in helping people regain function. You'll need current COTA certification and a genuine commitment to person-centered care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
