Therapist

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is seeking a compassionate Therapist to provide high‑quality, client‑centered behavioral health services within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Therapist with LSS, you will deliver individual, family, and group therapy to diverse populations, including children, adults, and families facing mental health, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Using evidence‑based therapeutic modalities, you will complete intake assessments, formulate treatment plans, provide ongoing psychotherapy, and regularly review progress to support meaningful, measurable change. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare and social service professionals to coordinate care, advocate for clients, and connect individuals and families with community resources that promote stability, resilience, and overall well‑being. In keeping with LSS’s mission of promoting health, healing, and hope, you will cultivate a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment, honoring the unique backgrounds, strengths, and needs of each client. Timely and accurate clinical documentation, adherence to ethical and legal standards, and participation in clinical supervision and team meetings are essential parts of this role. The Therapist will also collaborate with external partners such as schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to support continuity of care and address a broad range of social determinants of health. You will help clients build coping skills, improve relationships, and develop strategies for long‑term emotional wellness.
