Pay Range: $45.90- $51.20 per hour based on previous work experience.

Schedule: PRN Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance ~Paid Time Off + Personal Days ~ Life Insurance & Short-Term Disability ~ Employee Assistance Program ~ Referral bonuses & scholarship opportunities Minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology , with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or the equivalent of minimum of one-year experience working with adults/children with disorders of neurological origin , including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, swallowing, and The candidate must also have the ability to function independently within the department. Valid license in Speech Pathology in the state (where applicable) or actively accumulating the supervisory experience required for license. Registration with the Department of Health or eligible. Recommended Member of Speech Language Hearing Association. Interested in geriatric rehabilitation. The Speech Therapist will provide ongoing therapy to clients in a timely manner per physician’s orders. Communicate progress within the agency of resident progress. The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats clients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains appropriate documentation of services. Evaluates clients and formulates effective treatment plan per physician request and obtain approval for services from referring physician. Initiates ordered treatments and communicates with physician regarding client's progress. Comply with the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in state. The Home Health of Western Colorado is a Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health care agency in Montrose, CO which include experienced team of nurses, rehab therapists and home health aides dedicated to providing individualized health care needs with compassion and empathy. We are trained in caring for older adults, providing in-home health care services in the Delta, Montrose and Ouray counties and Montrose, CO.
