About This Role
You'll provide physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in their homes throughout the Arizona area. As a home health PTA, you'll work with a consistent patient caseload, allowing you to build meaningful relationships while maintaining the flexibility that attracted you to this role. Your schedule offers the autonomy many clinicians seek—you're not locked into a traditional clinic setting. This position suits PTAs who value independence, want control over their daily routine, and are motivated by direct patient care in real-world home environments. You'll need strong clinical skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work effectively with minimal on-site supervision. If you're a PTA who prioritizes work-life balance without sacrificing patient volume or professional growth, this role aligns with those priorities.

Frequently asked questions
What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?
School-based therapy roles typically follow a 9- or 10-month school-year calendar with summers off. Outpatient, hospital, home-health, and telehealth positions are year-round with PTO. Both options are widely available — check the job description for specifics.
What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
