About This Role
In this full-time home health role, you'll deliver physical therapy services directly to patients in their residences across Arkansas. Your days involve conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help patients recover mobility and independence following illness or injury. You'll work independently in patients' homes, managing your own schedule and caseload while coordinating with other healthcare providers. This position suits physical therapists who prefer direct patient contact over clinic settings and value autonomy in their daily work. You should be comfortable with travel between patient locations and flexible scheduling. Strong clinical skills, genuine patient advocacy, and the ability to adapt treatment approaches to home environments are essential for success in this role.

Frequently asked questions
What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?
School-based therapy roles typically follow a 9- or 10-month school-year calendar with summers off. Outpatient, hospital, home-health, and telehealth positions are year-round with PTO. Both options are widely available — check the job description for specifics.
What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
