About This Role
You'll work as part of the nursing team at L.E. Cox Medical Centers, providing direct care to psychiatric patients and monitoring their condition throughout your shift. Your day involves assisting nursing staff with patient needs, observing and documenting changes in patient behavior or health status, and communicating observations to the clinical team. This is a hospital-based role requiring you to be responsive, organized, and able to document information clearly. You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent; a background in psychology or mental health experience is preferred but not required. This position suits someone who is compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured healthcare environment with regular patient interaction and clear reporting lines to nursing supervisors.
