About This Role
You'll deliver occupational therapy services directly to patients in their homes throughout the Lake Spring area, conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to each client's living environment. Your days involve hands-on therapy sessions, patient education, and coordination with the broader care team to support recovery and independence. You'll travel between appointments, so reliable transportation is essential. This role suits OTs who prefer working independently in home settings rather than clinical facilities, and who can adapt quickly to different home situations. You need current OT licensure or eligibility for national registration, with prior home health or occupational therapy experience preferred. The position offers the flexibility of home-based work while making a direct impact on patient outcomes.

Frequently asked questions
What license do I need to apply?
An active state license in your discipline (PT, OT, SLP, LCSW, LPC, BCBA, etc.) in good standing. Therapy licensure is state-specific — the PT, OT, and ASLP-IC compacts let you practice in member states without a separate license.
Is this a school-year or year-round position?
School-based therapy roles typically follow a 9- or 10-month school-year calendar with summers off. Outpatient, hospital, home-health, and telehealth positions are year-round with PTO. Both options are widely available — check the job description for specifics.
What experience is expected?
Most therapy roles welcome new grads through mid-career clinicians. Specialty positions (acute care, NICU, pediatric feeding, hand therapy) typically prefer 2+ years plus relevant certifications.
