About This Role
You'll work as a Physical Therapist Assistant in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities across New Jersey, delivering hands-on therapy to senior patients. Your days involve executing treatment plans designed by supervising Physical Therapists, helping residents with mobility exercises, transfers, and functional activities aimed at restoring independence and preventing injury. You'll document patient progress, maintain equipment, and communicate regularly with the care team about patient outcomes. This role suits candidates with a PTA certification or licensure, strong interpersonal skills, and genuine patience working with elderly populations. You'll need physical stamina for direct patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment.
