About This Role
This position involves providing direct patient care in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities across the Erskine Lakes area. You'll work under a Physical Therapist's supervision, delivering hands-on treatments that address mobility, strength, balance, and fall prevention for older adults. Your daily responsibilities include treating patients, maintaining electronic medical records, coordinating with nurses and other care staff, and teaching residents and their families about exercises and safety. This role suits candidates who are licensed as a PTA, comfortable working with seniors, and skilled at documenting care clearly. You'll spend most of your time on the floor working directly with patients in a supportive care environment focused on helping people maintain independence.
